Nampaknya Joey sudah bersuara, janji2 Ancelotti hanya kata-kata kosong belaka, tiada peluang langsung diberikan kepada Joey walaupun Anelka dan Kalou tidak memberikan performance yang bagus sejak kebelakangan nie..“I don't think contracts should really be discussed mid-season. Walaupun Joey agak senyap season nie, dia perlu diberikan peluang, prestasi hambar Anelka bagi aku sudah cukup untuk memberikan ruang untuk Joey beraksi..Mungkin masih belum fit, tetapi skill dan vision dia selaku playmaker belum hilang..Ak harap dia akan starting sebagai sayap kanan lawan Porstmouse nie..Tapi apa yang membuatkan aku berbangga dengan Joey adalah semangatnya yang setia dengan The Blues..Aku harap dia akan stay di Chelsea season depan..Kata2 akhir Joey :
